The holiday season is upon us and it is a time filled with fun and festivities. Families and friends gather together to share good times, laughs, and memories. As a school we have decided to include our students in creating a positive memory in which our students can help others. The School of Career Education is partnering with the Early Care and Education (ECE) department in their Annual Harvest Food Drive.

Student Highlights

October brought many opportunities for our Admissions Technicians to participate in various College and Career Fairs throughout Riverside County. In addition we also had our Administrative Office Professional class participate at the Career Fair at the Fantasy Springs Casino. Students dressed for success and were able to speak to several representatives to inquire about the hiring process, what skill sets employers are looking for, and have meaningful conversations.

On October 17th and 24th our Instructors met with their Advisors at the Fall Occupational Advisory meeting. An SCE Advisory Committee is a group of individuals whose experience represent a particular occupation area. The primary purpose is to assist instructors to establish and evaluate the SCE program, which serves the needs of the students, community and business partners.
